Getting close

Hello!

I apologise for a slight delay in posting since the previous post. There has been a lot of added things going on at home (someone started school, someone started preschool, and someone re-started uni studies!) We are pleased to say we have had many amazing names posted after our Mascot Name Appeal during the Harvest Service! We will be going through the names and putting those suitable/non-duplicates in a box and picking one out very very soon.

Since our last team meeting, we have had the pleasure of seeing a sample itinerary from Mat and Suzanne. This definitely made us feel somewhat relieved, as no one likes to go away and not have a clue on what will be happening (unless you are going on a lazy beach holiday of course!) The days look full with exploring, community/school activities and hospitality provided by families of the community, we can safely say we are all feeling a real sense of excitement and wonder in what God wants us to experience over there.

As it is October in 2 days, the next step is to source the supplies we have been asked to buy and take over, as well as ensure all our ducks are in a row with regards to travel appointments, signed documents and assigning our flight seats with British Airways!

Our next team meeting is the 12th October, please keep us in your minds and in your prayers for that date and that we are able to do everything we need to before the 1st November. In the meantime, we will try our best to keep everyone updated and I personally will try and update the blog more often during the last few weeks of us going (perhaps some videos or quirky facts?) Thank you again for your continued support - we are certainly getting close to departure date!

God Bless,

W.A.I.T
