Hello readers!
The team spent Saturday being "proper" tourists as Mat and Suzanne took us to Berat. We got to see Berat Castle as well as the town (which is ottoman era buildings!) There were so many photos taken I will just share a few...
The team then spent Sunday morning at a modern Albanian shopping centre to watch some of the kids from GDQ participate in a worldwide dance for charity! Here's a picture of the mall (note all the Albanian flags - a proud country!)
The team then spent the afternoon putting together a report from our experiences here before having a debrief with Mat and Suzanne. The team need to be up bright and early to dig into a big breakfast (as the flight is at 12:55 so a good chance of no food until back in the UK!)
We have had a brilliant, eye-opening, mind-blowing, humble experience, but it has come to an end and we are getting ready to fly home. Please pray that we may all have a good night's sleep before the long journey home, that there are no delays, and for a safe journey back.
