In the beginning...

The team have had two meetings so far, and on the first meeting we all decided "who" was doing "what" and the sort of "jobs" we could all take on (one of mine being the blog, of course!)

Two of the first jobs to be done were flights and accommodation, which is a given really! I don't think planning a trip would work without either being done well in advance, and it appears both are taking shape. A quick chat with Mick, who said that the flight we chose is currently being booked by BMS and he should have confirmation very soon. Let me tell you, flight options were no joke. You either had to get an indirect flight and therefore it take 7 hours in total or you flew direct from London and it only be about 3 in total (guess which flight we picked!?) however once it's all confirmed I'll blog about it and get those prayers in for a smooth travel there and back!

The second job, which could only be done after the flights were set, was get the living arrangements sorted. Our friends in Albania, Mat & Suzanne Gregory, have kindly explored AirBNB and picked out two places which are 1) of easy access for them to pick us up from and 2) close to local amenities like shops so that we are never far from things we may need. The space we end up living will also provide some sanctuary and peace for devotionals (lead by Nick) after each day that we embark on our trips to GDQ and Tek Ura. It will be a place to reflect, pray, share in fellowship and be close to God. So, another good prayer point that we would all be grateful for, that where we pick is perfect for us, and that it is a comforting place amidst some trials that we may endure (not necessarily physically, but perhaps emotionally or spiritually)

Thank you for checking out the blog and we hope you stay interested in reading more as they come,

God Bless
