Officially introduced

Hello!

Yesterday the team were "officially introduced" to the church in both services. We are hoping that the children will help name the "Purple dog from Iceland" as this little dog will be our Mascot while we're away. We would love it for the children to get involved, feel excited about his/her travels on a missionary trip and we hope that it will engage them more than seeing our boring faces! Name suggestions can be written on paper and put into the suitcase with their smartie tub donations, or I am happy to receive them on here as well (please comment!) or email them in too!

There is now a "meet the team" page and we have a picture and some small paragraphs on who we are. I feel our team is unique as we all have something different to offer and are on different stages in our walk with God.

From our Q&A with Alan, a few things I pin-pointed for prayer are:

- Language barriers. Please pray that we are able to communicate confidently in our limited Albanian, or that we feel comfortable in our own understanding of others when they speak. Pray that we feel God's presence and that he will break any difficulties!

- Travel arrangements. British Airways have decided to go on strike! Please pray that our flights, there and back, will not be cancelled or delayed in any way, and that the strikes finish before we go.

- Community help. Our team want to be a help and not a hindrance! Please pray that we have opportunities to help, to love and to encourage those around us (not just Mat and Suzanne, but the community and eachother) and give everyone a little piece of Jesus' love and presence.

A quick general planning update! We have managed to secure some health travel insurance and a few of us are coming up to our travel appointments at the doctors for any routine jabs we need. We are still awaiting a supply list but we hope to have one soon as well!

Our team may be small, but we are mighty in Christ and have different strengths that we hope the Holy Spirit will utilise. Thank you for your continued support and prayers!

God bless,

W.A.I.T
