Hello! This post should have been yesterday's but we're having some technical difficulties with the Wix app!
So, we had the pleasure of walking to the Church 'Drita e botës'!
As you can see, Dashur settled right in and even said a small "woof!" to the congregation!
A wonderfully cosy church experience (taken place in the downstairs someone's home!) We were invited in with many smiling and friendly faces. We were asked to stand up and introduce ourselves and were lucky to have a willing translator who sat with us and translated the sermon for us. There were 5 songs and 2 of them were actually Hillsong but translated into Albanian!
The pastor spoke of the importance of sticking together to survive. Individually we are weak but together we are strong! (Interesting use of graphic video - from the film Gladiator! - to demonstrate the message) we then had communion which was absolutely lovely to do together.
After church, we had lunch round Mat and Suzanne's, Esther and Seth certainly took a shine to Dashur all weekend and they brought some friends down for him!
We then had a rest back at the apartment (well needed as most of us if not all were pretty tired!) I am hoping to discuss today (Monday) in another blog post soon so I'm not dragging the days too behind!
